OUR STORY

For our 40th wedding anniversary we stayed at The Refuge. The area is wonderful, quiet and peaceful and surrounded by nature! And it’s only 5 miles to resturants, shops and other activities in Sister Bay. We enjoyed hiking in the parks and taking the grandkids to the beach. We enjoyed our time together so much that we started looking for our own home away from home. When The Refuge became available, we knew that this was the place for us and we purchased it. The Refuge was built in 2005 by the original owners. It was their family vacation home and vacation rental for 15 years. Many families made great memories over the years, and we are working carefully to help create memories that will last a lifetime. We hope you will stay with us soon!
